Cirque My Ride will also feature an international act, from Finland taking a break from their European tour to inspire more youth around the world. Zip Zap’s collaboration with WiseFools will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The WiseFools trio specializes in triple trapeze and skipping ropes. They have worked with the world famous Cirque du Soleil, the German variety company GOP and various street art festivals in Korea, Spain and Israel. Together they have created an aerial street show and toured throughout Europe and in South Korea.

“The WiseFools are very excited to come to Zip Zap to share their skills and experiences with the students. We are ready to perform for the South African audience and look forward to share the stage with the Zip Zap performers in Cirque my Ride at the end of October”

says Jaimee Allen, one of the WiseFools.

Jaimee grew up at Zip Zap. She started out as a performer, followed by a teacher and then became a staff member where she focused on technical production. She followed her heart, stepped out of her comfort zone by auditioning for Ècole Superieure des Arts du Cirque in Brussels and spent three years training as a cloud swing circus performer.

Following an extremely successful production of Journey Beyond at the Artscape Theatre Centre in August 2018, Zip Zap will once again spin their enticing magic in their final production for 2018. While being taken on a journey of marvellous wizardry and hilarious mischief, the audience will be kept on their toes, their eyes wide open and their hearts racing!

Performances are at 12h00 and 14h00 daily on Saturday 27 October and Sunday 28 October 2018 at the Zip Zap Circus Dome in Founders Garden, Jan Smuts Street, Cape Town.

EARLY BIRD BOOKINGS! Half price tickets are available until midnight on Sunday, 07 October 2018. Various ticket options available from Quicket.
