Mustard Seed: 21st Century Woman Event
On the 3rd of September 2023, Mustard Seed, in partnership with KW Kreatives, will be hosting the inaugural 21st Century Woman event.
In an effort to bring together women who strive to be the best they can be in their entrepreneurial ventures, the event aims to highlight all aspects of the essence of being a businesswoman by touching on everything that encompasses running a business. As the woman come together, it will afford them the opportunity to network, relate and form relationships that will aid in their growth as women and entrepreneurs.
With Thokozile Mcopele as the MC and panel moderator, the event boasts a host of activities for the attendees to engage in including sessions from experienced speakers, namely Prof. Mamoketi Phakeng and Mbali Sebapu, panel discussions with Hetty the Entrepreneur and Yolisa Tshabalala.
For the entrepreneurs aiming to provide a more intimate and informative perspective into their venture, there will be stalls at the event. They will serve to provide the attendees with information into their products and services, which will aid in boosting their brand recognition and potential clientele.
To ensure that female entrepreneurs of all sizes are supported, Mustard Seed is eager to launch the 21st Century Woman Entrepreneur Competition. This is an opportunity for women owned businesses to pitch their businesses for a chance to win an amazing mentorship package, R20 000 in cash and R2500 Satrix investing vouchers. Competition is
officially open and the 21stCentury Woman Entrepreneur will be chosen and announced on Sunday 3rd September
2023.
To enter the competition, ensure your business falls under the following criteria:
• A female owned business
• Your business has to be registered with CIPC
• Your business has been operational for at least 6 months
• Innovative or interesting business model
As business women continue to cement their place in the world, it is key that the community of women surrounding them supports and aids in their growth. We are eager to ensure that Mustard Seed and KW Kreatives, through this event, brings this vision to life.
Mustard Seed is an organisation founded in 2018 by Linda Omara-Koledade, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
