Scottburgh’s Crocworld Conservation Centre will continue to engage with audiences throughout the month of June with its popular live video talks.

Every Friday this month, digital visitors can look forward to edutaining content as the Centre’s resident experts introduce some of the latest additions.

“We started our live stream sessions at the beginning of South Africa’s lockdown and we have seen a massive spike in the number of viewers who are keen to keep updated on what’s happening at the Centre,” said Martin Rodrigues, Manager of Crocworld Conservation Centre. “Throughout this time, we’ve continued to care for our animals, as well as receiving a number of new additions to the Centre, and we’re excited to introduce these new characters to our audience.”

The team will be sharing Live Facebook feeds every Friday at 11am via the ‘Crocworld Conservation Centre’ Facebook page where Rodrigues will be joined by his Crocworld teammates, James Wittstock (Reptile Curator) and Ryne Ferguson (Bird Curator). They will share unique insights on the day’s featured animal, as well as feeding demonstrations. In addition to the Facebook talks, the team will send out videos, images and interesting posts throughout the week, featuring animal interactions, plant discussions, new attractions and other topics related to the Centre’s many natural wonders.

“We look forward to further opening the window into the daily operation at our Centre, and we are excited to share our passion for sharing conservation, education and environmental tourism with all of our loyal supporters,” concluded Rodrigues.
