Isuzu Motors South Africa (IMSA) is offering assistance to Isuzu Bakkie and SUV owners of out of warranty and service plan vehicles.

The Isuzu Take Care Campaign will assist with maintenance of vehicles serviced by approved Isuzu dealerships between 2 June and 31 July 2020.

The offer gives owners of older Isuzu vehicles the opportunity to have their vehicles serviced at an approved Isuzu workshop by factory trained technicians using original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts and the specialised tools necessary to keep their vehicles on the road.

Isuzu owners who service their vehicles in June or July will receive a 12 month Isuzu Complete Care Roadside Assistance Plan which includes, towing service or roadside technical assistance, courtesy or alternative transport, accommodation or rental car in the event of a breakdown.

"Our customers depend on reliable transport and we recognise the economic pressure on consumers during this time. Our Take Care Campaign is aimed at easing some of the burden faced by our customers by offering them the opportunity to have their vehicles repaired by factory trained technicians using state of the art diagnostic tools and approved OEM parts. The benefit is reliability and extended vehicle life giving Isuzu owners peace of mind as they navigate through the turbulence of the next 12 months," said Chris Jonck, Executive: Aftersales, Subsidiaries & Joint Ventures at IMSA.

In addition to the offer of 12 months free Roadside Assistance, Isuzu owners can apply for an amount of up to R 200 000 through an Isuzu FlexiPay loan from WesBank CashPower to pay for vehicle service, parts, or accessories.

"This means Isuzu owners can defer the costs of maintenance and preserve their cash for more immediate needs as we work to rebuild our economy. It is our personal commitment to safeguard our customers and their vehicles at all times and we strive to stay true to our brand promise, 'With you, for the long run'," Jonck added.

Isuzu has close to 80 dealers around the country who are ready to carry out the required maintenance after the lockdown period.
