Thornybush Nature Reserve pushes the boundaries with exciting new development
The reserve started dropping the Eastern boundary fence at the end of February.
Thornybush Nature Reserve, a transcendent reserve encompassing 14500 hectares of land near Hoedspruit, is currently in the process of transforming its widespread landscape.
This exciting alteration pertains to the reserve’s, and the properties based within the boundaries decision to drop the boundary fence between the Reserve and the Timbavati Reserve, making the private area of land open to the Greater Kruger National Park.
By dropping the fence and opening the corridor, Thornybush will effectively allow for freedom of movement for most animal species residing in the extensive greater park.
This significant moment in the Reserve’s history will not only be favourable for the animals but for visitors to the area as well, as it will now form part of the Greater Kruger National Park.
The Thornybush Luxury Game Lodge Collection has accommodation to suit all needs – from honeymoon couples to families and large groups.
