A tea tasting toast to the new Laager Rooibos partnership
Long-time Rooibos fan and renowned South African entrepreneur, philanthropist, radio presenter and media personality, Mohale Motaung, was welcomed on board as a brand ambassador for the popular Laager Rooibos on Monday, 9 May.

In celebration of this new partnership, Mohale was invited to the offices of Joekels – the umbrella company of Laager Rooibos – where he was given an introduction into the art of tea tasting by Jonathan Kelsey, a Master Tea Blender and Joekels co-director.
Being a passionate Rooibos tea lover, Mohale was fascinated by the ritual of tea tasting, as well as the wealth of information that Jonathan shared on the different varieties of teas and how they are grown and manufactured.
Mohale was a great student, perfecting the ‘slurp’ which draws the liquid to the back of the palate and engages all the senses, allowing the tea taster to get fully acquainted with the tea blend in question.
