The countdown begins: BYD South Africa set to unveil the new ATTO 2 DM-i
Fresh off the successful launch of the BYD ATTO 8, BYD Auto South Africa is preparing to introduce another exciting addition to its growing local line-up.
On 10 and 11 June 2026, BYD will officially unveil the all-new ATTO 2 DM-i to South African media and stakeholders, marking the latest chapter in the brand's ambitious expansion within the local new energy vehicle market.
While the full details remain under wraps until launch, BYD can reveal that the ATTO 2 DM-i will feature the brand's advanced DM-i plug-in hybrid technology, delivering an intelligent blend of electric driving and long-distance convenience. The vehicle will also incorporate BYD's acclaimed Blade Battery technology, which has become synonymous with safety, innovation and performance across the brand's global portfolio.
The arrival of the ATTO 2 DM-i further reinforces BYD's commitment to providing South African motorists with practical, technologically advanced mobility solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern drivers.
