Today we are in the Toyota Hilux Legend. And where are we off to? To the GR Legends Rally.

Okay. So that's the SRRC Rally.

Yes. The South African #backtgrsa. Okay.

Um so hi guys, welcome to Let's Torque ZA. Today we are in the all new Toyota Hilux. It's the Legend. It's the

2.8 GD-6. Um you can see a lot of uh new tech here. Um also on the instrument

cluster. We've got a nice little cup holder here that's concealed. I like it coz it's still here by the vent so it

can keep your drinks warm or cold. Um, we've got a full JBL um, sound system as

well. Uh, you can see we've got a new steering wheel. Looks a bit like, if you remember the Land Cruiser Prado that we

had, I think about 2 or 3 years ago, we were at the launch of that. Um, so it's got that steering wheel. So, it looks quite nice. Xolile, what do you have anything to say?

Do you have any first impressions of the Toyota Hilux Legend?

One of my my initial reactions on it is how well the suspension feels. I know it has a

reinforced suspension with the same um powertrain, but it gives a more comfortable and more refined feeling to

it throughout. Honestly, um I'm a big fan also of the infotainment screen and the steering wheel as well.

Yes, that's I'll keep it simple for now.

That's it. Yes. So, you haven't done a full review because you haven't really tested the car and neither have we. So, that's awesome for a first impression. Any more first impressions?

No. Like Xolile said, um it's very comfortable ride. You don't feel like you're driving in a bakkie. I mean, when

we grew up and we drove a bakkie and we had the manual, right?

It doesn't feel like that anymore. And I think um Toyota's just refined it more and more and um they just get better and

better as we go along. But we obviously when we get it on on our 7 day um

uh test then we're going to obviously do a better and a full review of the vehicle. So keep a look out for that.
