Brendon Davids - Telkom 94.7 Cycle Challenge 2016 Winner
Joburg's biggest Cycle event was held early this morning. This year is the 20th Cycle Challenge and with Telkom as the new partner, "Official sponsor of speed", the race was faster than ever before.
Thousands of people made their way out to the Riversands Commercial Park for fun, entertainment, and of course the Cycle Challenge. There was an estimated 30 000 cyclists who participated this year.
Brendon Davids who won the race in just 2:15:49 was ecstatic about his win

Eddie van Heerden finished in second place and Morné van Niekerk in third.
In the Women's race, Charlotte Becker won with Mavi Garcia and Lise Olivier in second and third place respectively.
There is a lot more fun and entertainment for the whole family for the rest of the afternoon with popular musicians like Rubber Duc and Connell Cruise performing at the Dunked Power Zone.
