SA’s singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Choccy Chox is back with his brand new single, titled “Ones That I Love”.
Following the success of his previous singles, “Kiss Me Late at Night” and “Something Special”, Choccy is excited to share his latest offering with the world.

When asked about the inspiration for the song, Choccy explained,
“I felt like I needed to simplify the way we look at life, oftentimes we get carried away with what we think is important to us, like wanting the best things, where the goals and achievements we set are somehow not enough. For me, the best things in life are the people around you, the ones that make you the person that you are today. So I wrote this song with my friends and family in mind and I often think we as people can all relate to spending time with the Ones That You Love.”
Choccy Chox is no stranger to the SA music industry and has landed on some of the biggest charts in the country. No matter the great achievements, Choccy is still a humble talent that is thankful for all the support he has received for his music,
“It always blows my mind to think that something that I have created and written in my studio can resonate with so many people. As a producer and songwriter, I always try to give every bit of me in the records that I make, spending countless hours making sure a song gives off a certain emotion to that listener when they hear it is always the biggest challenge. When I hear people talk about how my music has played a role in their life, it really makes everything that I do worth it.”
While the past two years have been anything but easy for anyone, especially those in the entertainment industry, Choccy shares what has kept him motivated during the tough times,
“What keeps me motivated is that I appreciate how lucky I am to be able to do what I love. Life will always be hard and I think it is up to you as to how you approach it and take the positives out of it. Music is what I love and it is my passion and what I have learned in everything I do is to be consistent and patient. Things will change.”

“Expect more music to come out! I am growing as an artist every day and spending time in the studio has allowed me to experiment with records that I didn’t think I can make. Some music might sound different to my previous singles but this is the creative journey that I am on right now.”
