Comfort Yummy for the Tummy!
Even though restrictions are gradually being lifted, and somewhat limiting, we all still need that little break, so why not take some comfort and end the never ending life of cooking meals once in awhile and treat yourself together with the whole family to your favourite “takeaway”, giving you back some “you” time and eliminating the dreaded dishes that follow those hours of slogging and slaving over a hot stove.

So, for all those Umhlanga, Durban North or Springfield folks, there are some great takeaway options now available. Some of these outlets permit sit downs and they are aware of the health and safety regulations, ensuring that all COVID-19 guidelines and procedures are in place. Just remember to make a booking to ensure you will be accommodated!
Springfield Retail Centre offers you The Hollywood Bunny Bar, famous for its Burgers, Bunny Chows and Curries. For those after freshly baked goodies such as bagels, biscuits or the best baguettes in town, then Yiroll Caffe Bake is the place to visit!

Granada Square hosts a variety of restaurants to entice all palettes. If you fancy something hearty & meaty, then visit Little Havana, a contemporary and stylish, award-winning Steak House, based on the first floor. Local Italian restaurant, Angelo’s, which has been around for over 26 years, offers an authentic, mouth-watering Italian experience. For a wide variety of tasty Mediterranean meals, then be sure to support Mediterraneo, situated along the Umhlanga strip.
Park Boulevard, situated in Brownsdrift Road, offers you two very popular restaurant options. If your “go to food” is Chinese, then you can’t go wrong with China Plate. They are open for takeaways so order your favourite meal from them today. Should your preference be more on the Italian side, contact Andreas Café Italia and order some of their homemade pizzas or pastas. They are offering sit down service as well. And if you can’t decide, who says you can’t have them both!
These Centres, which fall under the Emira Property Fund Group, would like to take a moment to thank the community & their customers for their support throughout lockdown, which has really kept the restaurant in our respective Centre’s going!
They would also like to remind you that for those who are wary of dining out, simply enjoy the take-away and delivery options that will continue to operate. Should you be dining out, please ensure you maintain adequate social distancing and don’t forget to make a booking to avoid disappointment!
Keep safe and enjoy these tasty moments!
