Sandwich Baron competition to find the perfect sandwich for its 21st birthday celebration
In celebration of its 21st birthday, Sandwich Baron is inviting customers to create their own scintillating sandwiches. The winning entry will be added to the Sandwich Baron menu item until the end of 2017.
A list of ingredients selected by Sandwich Baron founder and CEO, Sally J’Arlette-Joy will be posted on the Sandwich Baron Facebook page.
“Participants will only be allowed to choose five ingredients from the list for their masterpieces,” she says.
Participants will be asked to post their sandwich ideas on Facebook and all entries will be displayed for customers to vote for their favourite sandwich combinations.
“This is, of course, quite subjective because people have such varying tastes,” says J’Arlette-Joy, “but it will be interesting to see which combinations of ingredients pique the most interest.”
At the end of the month, the sandwiches with the most votes will be judged by J’Arlette-Joy and the winners announced at a media event In Alberton North at Sandwich Baron’s first-ever store.
The winning sandwich will be named “The 21st Celebration Sandwich” as a salute to the company’s 21styear of operation.
“We’re excited to be celebrating our 21st year of supplying our customers with the freshest, most tantalising sandwiches, snacks and lunchtime platters around.”
