It’s become a universal truth that we capture our lives digitally. Whether it’s our kid first step, our pets funniest moments or just our daily selfies. We need a reliable place to store these memories from where they can be easily retrieved.
To keep your smartphone functioning optimally you need to move your fav’ pics to a reliable storage device and that is exactly what the Samsung SSD T5 offers. This portable solid-state drive (PSSD) raises the bar and includes USB–C to C and USB-C to A connection cables for enhanced compatibility across numerous devices when transferring data such as high-resolution photos, 4K videos and huge project files.
The T5 features Samsung’s latest 64-layer V-NAND technology and delivers industry-leading transfer speeds with encrypted data security in a compact and durable design. The new device makes it easier than ever for consumers to access their most valuable data anywhere and anytime with complete peace of mind.
“Samsung continues to push the envelope with innovative technologies which cater to our consumers’ needs. We are confident that the T5 will exceed expectations for external storage by offering faster processing speed while remaining lightweight and conveniently pocket-sized. It is the ideal portable storage device for anyone who is looking for aa fast, durable and secure device,” says Craige Fleischer, Director Integrated Mobility at Samsung South Africa.
Delivering speeds of up to 540 MB/s[1], which is 4.9 times faster[2] than external HDD products, the T5 is designed to give instant, easy access to data. It is also smaller than an average business card at 74 x 57.3 x 10.5 millimeters and incredibly lightweight. Weighing a mere 51 grams, the T5 comfortably fits in the palm of your hand. It also has an exquisite aluminum exterior which comes in two distinct metal finishes of Deep Black (1TB and 2TB models) and Alluring Blue (250GB and 500GB models).
The T5 has no moving parts, it boasts a shock-resistant internal frame and can withstand accidental drops of up to 2 meters (6.6 feet)[3].
The Samsung Portable SSD Software[4] is compatible with PCs and Macs, and with AES 256-bit hardware data encryption, configuring security settings and updating to the latest firmware and software. In addition, a mobile app is available for Android smartphones and tablets.
Fleischer says that Samsung has again demonstrated that it understands the daily challenges that their consumers face and giving them the solutions to live a better life. and the T range storage devices are a perfect example of this. It also gives you additional peace of mind because it adheres to the highest international security standards, through encrypted data security that requires a user password to access your data and protect it from prying eyes
Now you can snap every moment of your toddler’s life, your animal’s quirks and even daily selfies knowing that the Samsung SSD T5 has enough space for them all. Happy snapping!
