DRAGON BLASTS BACK ONTO THE STER-KINEKOR BIG SCREEN FOR THIRD INSTALMENT
Kids are in for a flying, fire-breathing treat at this month’s Screenplay
This month sees the return of Screenplay, Ster-Kinekor’s special Sunday event, where kids and their families get an exclusive first look at the latest movie blockbusters on the BIG screen at Ster-Kinekor cinemas.
Look out for specialised Kids' Cinemas, available at selected Ster-Kinekor venues, where exclusive waiting areas keep children entertained and vibrant beanbag seating set the scene once inside; some Kids' Cinemas even feature an indoor slide and ball pool!
Adults get to watch the kids from body-contoured theatre seats, while innovative, self-service terminals streamline the ticketing and catering process. The digital projection and surround sound ensure a thunderous viewing experience.
The January Screenplay sneak peek is How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, the third and final instalment in the How To Train Your Dragon animated trilogy that has wowed the world since the first movie came roaring out in 2010. Screenplay is an ideal family outing, made all the more special for showcasing the latest releases a week before they go on countrywide general release.
Screenplays will take place at Sandton (Kids' Cinema), Blueroute, Centurion (Kids' Cinema), Fourways (Kids' Cinema), East Rand Mall (Kids' Cinema), Mall of Africa, I'langa, Irene, Gateway, Watercrest, and Tygervalley.
Making the Screenplays even more of an occasion is the entertainment that comes with the main attraction. The event starts at 11amwith fun activities for the kids, followed by the screening of the movie at noon. In How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, little ones will squeal, gasp and marvel as Toothless the Dragon and his rider Hiccup go on an adventure to save their village.
