One of the festive season’s most charming concerts takes place for one evening only on the lawns of Groot Constantia Wine Estate. On Friday, 8 December at 7pm, gates open at 5pm, families and friends in the know gather to enjoy The Symphony Choir of Cape Town’s annual Festive Concert.
The choir will be conducted by well-known musical director Alexander Fokkens, accompanied by the Brass Quintet and joined in song by the critically acclaimed Gentlemen’s Ensemble as well as a few Christmassy favourites sung by the choir members’ children.
Bring your own rugs, low chairs and a picnic and join us under the stars for this once off festive celebration. Groot Constantia wine, coffee and snacks will be on sale on the lawns and picnics can also be ordered from Simon’s at Groot Constantia, 021-794-1143.
