Departing South Africa on 25 February 2026, Talitha will become one of only a handful of South African women to undertake this extraordinary challenge. But this journey is about far more than altitude or endurance - it is a mission of inspiration and impact.
Talitha’s Everest Base Camp expedition aims to empower South African women to pursue bold dreams while using a global platform to highlight two urgent crises affecting Africa and the world: human trafficking and rhino poaching.

An accomplished adventurer, Talitha has completed more than 40 hiking trails across South Africa and Namibia and has summited Mount Kilimanjaro.
While Everest Base Camp is one of her most demanding physical challenges to date, she describes this expedition as her most purposeful.
