On Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 KZN will be host to the very first Fitch & Leedes Gin and Tonic Festival at the picturesque Chris Saunders Park in the heart of Umhlanga from 11am till 8pm.
Keeping up with the fast growing Gin and Tonic craze, The Fitch & Leedes Gin and Tonic Festival will be one of the most anticipated festivals to make its mark on Durban's shores.
With a combination of lifestyle elements, bringing together food, music and the biggest variety of gin that Durban has ever seen, with 15 different types to whet your appetite, the event will showcase international brands such as Cruxland Gin , Beefeater Gin, Bulldog Gin, Gordons Gin, Bombay Sapphire Gin, Tanqueray Gin, Seagrams Gin, Strettons Gin, Whitley Neil as well as local South African brands such as Durbanville Gin, Ginologist, Redstone Gin, Triple Three Gin, Woodstock Gin and The Generals Gin. The Fitch & Leedes Gin and Tonic Festival is the best place to chill with your mates and enjoy the best of the good life.
Upon arrival, festival goers can expect to receive a limited edition branded glass and a “Rate Your Gin booklet". Use this handy little booklet as a guide through the festival, and as you rate each gin, get your booklet stamped. Hand in your completed booklet to the office on site and you could stand to win some amazing prizes, including a year’s supply of Gin and Tonic.
For the gin enthusiasts and those just in for the fun of it, choose between a Gin & Tonic taster or a perfect serve Gin & Tonic, poured by our mixologists, complemented by fresh garnishes and then relax on the lawns to enjoy some local music from some of South Africa's favourite musicians - creating a truly unforgettable experience.
