Hatfield Square Has Retailers On Site for Students’ Convenience
The Hatfield Square precinct is ready to reclaim its legacy as Pretoria’s student district hot-spot for all the right reasons: a selection of restaurants and lifestyle outlets are open for business in the completely rebuilt student accommodation and lifestyle complex, owned by Respublica.
Pizza Hut and Fanakalo offer quick and affordable meals to students, while Rhapsody’s, offers the perfect venue to kick back and socialise after hours. Urbanite, a second on-trend restaurant and bar offering, will open its doors on 1 August 2017
Studio 88, Princess Hair Salon and Cross Trainer bring on-trend fashion and sportswear to the district, and several more retailers, food and beverage outlets and entertainment hotspots will open in due course.

Registered students from any academic institution in Pretoria can apply to join Respublica’s various residences, which are close to public transport nodes, and offer a range of fully inclusive amenities including unlimited Wi-Fi, gym, multiple recreation rooms, outdoor courtyards, communal pause areas on each floor, laundry facilities, study rooms, computer labs and a swimming pool.
The varying accommodation configurations within individual residences make them accessible to students with diverse resources, with options ranging from standalone bedrooms with communal amenities to four-sleeper apartments using a shared bathroom as well as single-sleeper studios including an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette.
