Hyundai Automotive South Africa Congratulates Class of 2025 and Reaffirms Commitment to Education and Reading Culture

Hyundai Automotive South Africa has extended its congratulations to learners who have successfully passed their 2025 National Senior Certificate examinations, while offering encouragement and renewed hope to those who did not achieve the results they had hoped for.

This year, approximately 900,000 learners nationally sat for the examinations, marking one of the largest matric cohorts in South Africa’s history and underscoring the importance of collective support for youth development and education.

Stanley Anderson, CEO of Hyundai Automotive South Africa commended the dedication shown by these matriculants, having navigated a number of challenges in 2025.

“Today marks a significant milestone for thousands of young South Africans.  To those who passed, we congratulate you on your hard work, discipline and perseverance.  Your achievement is a foundation upon which you can build meaningful futures.”

“To those who did not make it and may be feeling disappointed, remember that one set of results does not define your potential or your worth.  There are multiple pathways to success and continuous learning remains one of the most valuable life skills,”

said Anderson.

Hyundai Automotive South Africa views education as a societal responsibility particularly in promoting literacy and a culture of reading.  To date, the company has donated 23 fully equipped libraries to 23 schools thus, providing learners with knowledge beyond the classroom.  In addition, Hyundai Automotive South Africa is rolling out its Drive Your Dreams programme, a youth-focused initiative designed to provide learners with practical career guidance and mentorship.

“Access to books and learning resources can change the trajectory of a child’s life,”

Anderson added.

“Our libraries initiative and Drive Your Dreams programme are practical demonstrations of our commitment to supporting education advancement and community development.”
