Just Teddy - Fine Boulangerie & Pâtisserie launched their first cookbook, Just Teddy - Petals from Paris at a chic soirée and high tea on Thursday, 25 November 2021 at their Hyde Park Corner store hosted by television presenter and actress, Thembisa Mdoda Nxumalo.

A guest list which included local celebrity and socialite clients as well as media, were treated to a parade of the sumptuous delicacies featured in the book, all prepared by the dedicated and highly skilled food team, each one more jaw dropping that the next (incidentally all the dishes represented in the book can be ordered from the extensive menu at Just Teddy). In their trademark lavish style an impressive croquembouche tower topped with glittering spun sugar provided an aptly extravagant grand finale to what was an exceptional and elegant book launch.
This is so much more than a ‘cookbook’, this beautifully illustrated and written book documents the family’s culinary journey which had humble beginnings at 1 Fox a few short years ago – their brand has taken the Pâtisserie landscape by storm growing in stature and popularity rapidly. The Zaki family drew inspiration not only from recipes which resonate with their family’s proudly Lebanese heritage but also from their extensive travels seeking out the best in baked delicacies around the globe.
Just Teddy - Petals from Paris will retail at R650 with a custom, limited edition book jacket, and R550 without a book jacket. Books can be purchased at Just Teddy’s Hyde Park Corner store, from their website, or via the Takealot website.
