MasterDrive operations under level one
In a national address on Sunday night, president Cyril Ramaphosa moved the country to level one restrictions as infection rates continue to drop. This will see a shorter curfew, more lenient alcohol restrictions and larger gatherings will be permitted.
MasterDrive has been operating since level four restrictions, providing training to essential workers. The managing director of MasterDrive, Eugene Herbert, explains further: “We welcome the move to level one restrictions and the benefits that come with this. MasterDrive is ready to meet with and resume training with organisations that were not allowed to participate in face-to-face interactions until level one.
“We instituted a number of measures as soon as the country was placed into lockdown in March last year, which will remain in place until COVID-19 no longer presents a risk to the country. Whether you elect virtual training or prefer face-to-face interaction throughout the process, there are various measures that ensure we reduce your exposure to the virus as much as possible.”
Some measures that MasterDrive takes to reduce exposure:
- COVID-19 screening on entry
- Full santisation of training rooms and vehicles before and after sessions
- Certain PPE worn throughout by employees and guests
- Testing of the trainers for COVID-19 before resuming training this year
- Trainers do not use public transport to make their way to work
- Virtual training option for the theoretical session
- All procedures recommended by the World Health Organisation and government
MasterDrive looks forward to conducting business under level one. “We welcome back all clients who have henceforth been unable to conduct face-to-face interactions during the course of business. Should there be anything that we can do to simplify this process, please do not hesitate to contact us,” says Herbert.
