Mercedes-Benz South Africa (MBSA) is proud to announce that it has, for the third consecutive year, been certified by the Top Employers Institute for its exceptional employee offerings.
The Top Employers Institute announced the results of this year’s research findings in Johannesburg last night, with MBSA receiving the coveted Top Employers South Africa 2019 certification.
The Top Employers Institute certifies excellence in the conditions that employers create for their employees as well as the nurturing and development of talent throughout all levels of the organisation.
Commenting on the accolade, Executive Director of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs, Abey Kgotle said:
“This year’s certification serves once again as proof that the wellbeing of our employees is a priority for Mercedes-Benz South Africa. To remain the preeminent leader in the premium automotive segment, we continuously improve, culturally and structurally. Our corporate success is safeguarded through our employees and the provision of optimal employee conditions.”
The journey to enhance employee satisfaction is evidenced by the introduction of Leadership 2020 programme, initiated by MBSA parent company, Daimler AG. Together with employees, the Leadership 2020 programme seeks to develop future-oriented management principles and work methods to prepare MBSA for the changing nature of work and the automotive sector.
“Our third consecutive certification as a Top Employer supplements our organisational culture change through Leadership 2020 and sets us on the right path to ensure that attractive and conducive employee conditions are entrenched,”
Top Employer Institute is an independent global benchmark HR certification company which, annually assesses Top Employers using their global HR Best Practices Survey. In order to earn certification, organisations must successfully achieve the required minimum standards as set out by the Top Employers Institute.
