New Ford Tourneo Titanium X AWD has all the Bells and Whistles
Ford South Africa is expanding its premium people-mover offering with the introduction of the Ford Tourneo Titanium X AWD, adding all-wheel-drive capability to the highly specified Titanium X derivative.
Joining the existing front-wheel drive Titanium X in the Tourneo line-up, the new Tourneo Titanium X AWD derivative retains the premium specification, comfort and versatility while adding the enhanced traction and sure-footed capability of all-wheel-drive across a broader range of road and driving conditions.
With seating for eight occupants, a premium interior and an extensive suite of technology and safety features, the Ford Tourneo Titanium X AWD is designed to appeal to families, executive transport operators and customers looking for a sophisticated and highly versatile vehicle for long-distance travel.

Premium power and all-wheel-drive capability
Powering the Ford Tourneo Titanium X AWD is Ford's 2.0-litre EcoBlue four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, producing 125kW of power and 390Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, delivering smooth and responsive performance in both urban environments and on longer journeys.
The addition of all-wheel drive enhances the Tourneo's capability by providing additional traction when required. The system can distribute drive between the front and rear wheels according to available grip, helping the vehicle maintain traction on surfaces such as wet roads, gravel and other low-grip conditions.
For South African customers, this added capability makes the Ford Tourneo Titanium X AWD particularly well suited to road trips and leisure travel where journeys can extend beyond paved urban roads.
Importantly, AWD complements the Tourneo's core attributes - customers continue to benefit from the refined ride, generous interior space and passenger-focused design of the Titanium X.
Eight seats in premium comfort
The Ford Tourneo Titanium X AWD provides accommodation for eight occupants, with generous space for passengers and luggage. The interior can be configured to suit the needs of the journey, with the individual rear seats designed to be easily removed when additional luggage or load space is required. The seats can also be turned around creating a rear-facing conference-style space.
Along with the leather-appointed seating, customers who choose to purchase the optional Lux pack get additional equipment including heated second-row seats, a 14-speaker B&O sound system and a full-length panoramic moon roof designed to bathe the interior in natural light. The Mobile Office package is also available as an additional option, comprising a stowable accessory tray table, enhanced lighting, laptop or tablet stowage between the seats, additional USB connections, an accessory docking slot, and a convenient integrated rubbish bin. Another feature highlight as part of this pack is the steering wheel that can be converted into a table for the driver to use when parked. It can be set at various angles to be used as a working surface for anything from laptops to food. This feature is only available when the vehicle is parked and stationary.
Access to the second and third row seating is made convenient through powered sliding side doors, while the spacious cabin provides ample room for occupants across all three rows.
The exterior of the AWD is largely identical to the Ford Titanium X, distinguished by 19-inch alloy wheels and premium styling details including AWD badging and complemented by Matrix LED headlights for advanced illumination. Six drive modes; (Normal, Eco, Slippery, Tow/Haul, Sport and Trail) enhance the vehicle’s broader versatility.
Connected and convenient
The Ford Tourneo Titanium X AWD features Ford's latest connectivity and infotainment technology, centred around a 13-inch touchscreen with SYNC 4. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ enable compatible smartphones to connect seamlessly with the vehicle, providing access to navigation, music, calls and other applications.
Technology designed to help protect occupants
The Ford Tourneo Titanium X AWD is equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance and safety technologies designed to provide greater confidence and protection for occupants.
Features include Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pre-Collision Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centring, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), Rear Cross-Traffic Alert with Reverse Brake Assist and a 360-degree camera system.
Additional technologies such as Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Assist, Exit Warning and Post-Collision Braking further enhance the vehicle's safety credentials.
Together, these systems provide additional support to the driver in a wide range of everyday driving situations, making it easier to manage the Ford Tourneo in traffic.
A 360-degree camera system provides a bird's-eye view around the vehicle, making it easier to manoeuvre and park the Tourneo in tight spaces.
In the event of a collision, Post-Collision Braking can apply the vehicle's brakes following an initial impact, helping to reduce the risk or severity of a secondary collision.
Together, these systems provide a comprehensive network of driver assistance technologies designed to support the driver throughout every stage of a journey.
All Ford Transit and Tourneo models feature a Driver Monitoring System that uses an infrared camera to track the driver’s head and eye movements for signs of distraction. If detected, the system displays an instrument-panel warning to help the driver stay focused on the road.

The Ford Tourneo Titanium X AWD is designed to fulfil a wide range of roles, especially for those customers who enjoy travelling beyond the city, the addition of all-wheel drive provides greater confidence when conditions become more challenging.

The Recommended Retail Price includes a six-year/90 000km Ford Optional Service Plan, four-year/120 000km Ford warranty, four-year/unlimited distance Roadside Assistance and five-year/unlimited distance corrosion warranty. In addition, over the counter (OTC) parts and service parts warranty (SPW) are covered for two-year/unlimited distance. The recommended service interval is 15 000km or annually, whichever occurs first.
Customers have the option of purchasing Ford Protect Service or Maintenance Plan upgrades up to eight years or 165 000km. The warranty can be extended up to seven years or 200 000km, while the Roadside Assistance can be extended for an additional one or two years.
