Earlier in the year, Nissan also proudly sponsored Tamaryn Green with a Qashqai after she won the Miss SA pageant. Tamaryn will now go on to represent South Africa at the Miss Universe pageant.

“Nissan has always been an avid supporter of the Miss SA pageants as we truly believe that Miss SA provides unique opportunities to young women as they strive to reach their goals in life. We are pleased to extend our sponsorship for the first time to Miss World South Africa,”

says Kabelo Rabotho, Director of Marketing at Nissan South Africa.

The all-new Nissan Micra is engineered to be the perfect urban city drive It’s all about challenging conventions in small car design, comfort and performance. With its stunningly sculpted body and strong, sharp character lines, the bold new Micra is hard to ignore.

Thulisa is a young woman with a modern sense of fashion, much like the new Nissan Micra, which turns heads wherever it goes.

The fifth generation of Nissan’s highly successful Micra represents a significant progression in design and is nothing short of revolutionary. The Micra is equipped with a wide range of technologies designed to enhance the car’s comfort, convenience and safety performance. Many of them are standard across the range, while others are available from specific grades or as an option.

The cause that Thulisa is most passionate about is education.

“I believe that our society will improve dramatically as education improves. We have to ensure that all children across South Africa have access to good schools and the necessary textbooks as this is how our country will transform”

says Thulisa.

Nissan South Africa will be handing over this fantastic car at The Maslow Hotel, Sandton.

“We would like to congratulate Thulisa and as a pioneer for education, we are only too happy to provide a vehicle that will enable her to drive the change she would like to see in education,”
