Game has something for each and every South African family, including those classic local favourites.
Heritage simply means something that is passed down, usually as a tradition , from one generation to the next.
One often mistakes the term as having only to be associated with cultural or religious heritage.
On 24th September, we celebrate Heritage Day in South Africa. On this day, "South Africans are encouraged to celebrate their culture and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions, in the wider context of a nation that belongs to all its people."
In recent years, the focus has moved to our local food heritage; and South Africans usually unite around charcoal fires cooking meat - which we call a braai.
Retail chain store Game has introduced 'Products of Our Heritage' to celebrate the brands, especially the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), and we will be enjoying a few thanks to them.
We've all grown up with a few favourite brands in the house or heard a few jingles on the radio or TV, that later in life had some effect when we were at the store deciding which brand of cereal or soap to buy.
