Reynardt Hugo’s second single, Diep Binne My, was released on 2 October and has surpassed everyone’s expectations. The music video of thìs pop-hit, has just been released.


“The video is like a short film. The story is about a couple that comes to a crossroad in their releationship/marriage and have to decide whether they want to let go or work at it. The video was shot at a house in Northcliff in Johannesburg. It shows in a honest way by means of the camera and acting, how real and sensitive situations can be in a relationship,” 

says Reynardt.


The actress in the video is Shana Mans from Cape Town and Suna Roberts did the styling and make-up. Johannes Schoutsen and Reynardt produced the video, while Patrick Furter was responsible for the behind the scenes photos.



Reynardt and Sean Butler wrote the song. Reynardt expresses that the song means a lot to him, as he found himself in a very similar situation. 

“I had to decide whether I wanted to change my life around, ask for forgiveness and to better myself – to reach a place of truth. It is not always easy, it is a difficult road, but definitely worth it. I think old and young will enjoy this song, as it will have a different meaning to each and everyone,” 

he adds.
