You’ve heard of bottomless coffee, yes?  Well, now there’s bottomless soup –every Thursday at the Turbine’s Island Café delicious Soup Nights.

During the chilly season from 18h30, the Island Café is offering bottomless soup - a sensational selection of gourmet soups served with freshly baked artisan bread (gluten free and vegetarian options are available) that will fill and warm your bellies and get your cheeks glowing ...and you can keep going back for more... and more... until you’re full ...satisfyingly full.

The price is just R95 per adult and R45 for children under 11, making it an affordable and perfect option for families.  So bring your family – don’t forget the grandparents - and book your table now.

And if soups are not your thing the Island Café serves extraordinary dishes from a diverse a la carte menu or the to-die-for mouth-watering Italian cuisine at the Col’Cacchio pizzeria.

About Turbine Boutique Hotel and Spa

The 5-star Turbine Boutique Hotel and Spa is situated on Thesen Islands in Knysna. Intuitive architecture pays homage to the old power station it once was.  Accommodation comprises luxury hotel rooms, standard rooms, a honeymoon suite and two expansive self-contained suites adjacent to the hotel.  Group bookings are welcome for weddings, small conferences and events. The hotel is also home to the Island Café Restaurant with tables overlooking the canals, pool deck or nestled between the original refurbished turbines. The Gastro Pub offers classic pub meals with a delicious twist and lagoon sunset views.  The Turbine Spa has a wide range of treatments for day visitors as well as hotel guests and, the hotel’s very own adventure centre, the Turbine Water Club, arranges a variety of water- and land-based activities such as lagoon cruises, forest walks, city tours and bicycle hire.

The Island Café - a 90-seater restaurant overlooking the picturesque Thesen Island canals, is open to hotel and non-hotel guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a variety of dishes are available from the regularly updated a la carte menu.  Inside, tables are nestled between the original turbines, which have been restored to create a retro feel. Majestic glass sliding doors create an airy feel, while warm open fireplaces fight the chill during winter months. Outdoor, the spacious terrace is perfect for al fresco dining, and the beautiful pool deck is the perfect venue for a romantic candlelit dinner for two.
