The Countdown to White Star’s Miss Soweto Finale is upon us
Soweto is gearing up to host the annual Miss Soweto 2018 finals on the 1st of December 2018, which is sponsored by South Africa’s favourite maize meal brand, White Star Super Maize Meal.
The highly anticipated final gala event is scheduled to commence at 18:00 at the Soweto Theatre in Soweto where the Top 20 finalists will strut their stuff on the runway while vying for the judge’s votes.
This year’s judges include Grace Mantjiu from Bona Magazine, Zinhle Mthembu from Clinix and Celebrity Chef, Lucia Mthiyane. Grace is currently the beauty editor of Bona Magazine, Zinhle Mthembu is the Marketing Manager at Clinix Health Group – Tshepo -Themba Private Hospital and Lucia Mthiyane who is an actress, singer, celebrity chef, and an entrepreneur, a true modern day Wonder Woman.
Clinix and Intec College have come on-board as title sponsors for the event and the winner will walk away with over R1 Million in prizes.
Leading up to the finals, the 20 finalists will go through an intense period of coaching, rehearsals, public appearances and judging which is aimed at preparing them for the big stage.
House and kwaito sensation Zakes Bantwini, will be the headline act on the night and he will definitely have the guests on their feet with his rhythmic music.
