Thule Accessories Available Directly From The Dealer
Thule distributor, SA Sport & Cargo, has created a series of Partner stores in franchised motor dealerships and in 2019 will continue to roll out the concept to outlets which meet their criteria.
These dealerships now have direct access to Thule products, enabling them to satisfy the lifestyle needs of their customers, in-house. Thule roof racks and mounting hardware specific to their car models, as well as luggage boxes and popular towbar- and roof-mounted bicycle carriers, are common items stocked. However, SA Sport & Cargo can supply a dealer with a solution to mount virtually any lifestyle accessory, including the likes of fishing rods or any watersport-orientated gear, giving the dealer the opportunity to sell a fully-accessorised vehicle.
“The concept turns a corner of a showroom into a mini Thule Partner store, not just a static product display,”
explains Richard Downey of SA Sport & Cargo.
“There’s no better time to accessorise than at point of sale and buyers can drive away with everything they need.
“It also represents the perfect ‘up-sell’ opportunity and dealers will be able to boost their bottom line on the sale of every vehicle. It’ll simplify the finance and insurance process too. Thanks to our existing supply infrastructure, sold Thule items can be replenished swiftly, obviating the need to keep excessive stock.”
As part of the start-up package, dealers are supplied with Thule’s classy and eye-catching display solutions and instruction for workshop staff on fitting Thule products.
