Newcastle’s number one entertainment destination, Tsogo Sun’s Blackrock Casino, will be hosting the legendary Tim Plewman who will be performing his hit comedy show, Defending the Caveman, on Saturday, 3 November 2018, at the Casino’s Balele Conference Centre.
Back by popular demand, Tim will be providing his hilarious take on the sexes as he steps on stage once again to add to his 1,544 sold out performances of the longest-running and most successful comedy show in South African theatre history. This Broadway production holds the record for being the longest running non-musical comedy show of all time.
Tim has updated and upgraded Defending the Caveman, tailoring it to today’s world of tweets, selfies and six million Facebook friends. Despite these adjustments, his production is still a hilarious, affectionate and insightful comedy that explains why men and women see the world so differently, and will have you looking at the opposite sex with new eyes.
“We continually strive to bring our guests the very best in local entertainment, and Tim is proof. With a career spanning more than 40 years, we are in for a magical evening,”
says Blackrock Casino’s Complex General Manager, Tobie van Schalkwyk.
Guests can look forward to a meet and greet session with Tim after the show.
Tickets are available at R160 per person from the Casino’s cash desk. Website and Rewards cardholders are eligible for discounts of up to 20% off the ticket price. Doors are set to open at 19h30.
Coming up later in the month, comedy lovers can look forward to another fantastic show called Harry and the Gupta, starring Jack Devnarain and Vikash Mathura.
