TOYOTA CERTIFIED AS AN EXCELLENT EMPLOYER
Toyota South Africa Motors’ (TSAM) department of Human Resources has been certified by the Top Employers Institute (TEI) for offering excellent working conditions to its employees.
The TEI Institute is a global certification company recognising excellence in the conditions that employers create for their people.
TSAM has been certified by the TEI in accordance with HR Global Best practices. The certificate was awarded during a prestigious event held at the Sandton Convention Centre in October 2018. The certification recognises TSAM’s efforts in providing the highest standards when it comes to working conditions by creating an enabling environment for staff to be both nurtured and developed through sustainable HR practices across the employee spectrum.
The institute’s certification programmes are focused on HR facts and are designed to identify and call attention to great employers wherever they are in the world. The TEI assessed TSAM using the global Human Resources Practices Survey which, amongst others, focused on the Talent Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development, Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits as well as Workforce Planning.
The recognition comes at the time when TSAM has placed much emphasis on building a strong corporate brand to complement its solid product offering.
