Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) will make its debut at the globally recognised One Young World Summit this year. Five young professionals from across the business have been selected to represent the company at the event in Cape Town from 3-6 November 2026.

The summit brings together young leaders, innovators and changemakers from around the world to engage on critical issues facing society. Robust engagements include topics on sustainability, education, innovation, economic development and social impact. Toyota’s five delegates will join peers from around the world to exchange ideas, build networks and gain insights that can contribute to a more sustainable, inclusive and prosperous future.

Through its participation, Toyota reaffirms its commitment to investing in people, nurturing future leaders and empowering young professionals.

Commenting on the milestone, Suben Moodley, Senior Vice President of Corporate Services at Toyota South Africa Motors, said: "At Toyota, we believe that developing people is fundamental to building a better future. Our participation in One Young World reflects our commitment to investing in the next generation of concious leaders and creating opportunities for them to learn, grow and contribute meaningfully to society. We are proud to support our delegates as they represent Toyota South Africa Motors and engage with young leaders from around the world."

The initiative aligns with Toyota's long-standing philosophy of developing people and creating value beyond mobility. By exposing emerging talent to global perspectives and diverse leadership experiences, TSAM aims to foster innovation, strengthen leadership capability and encourage fresh thinking within the organisation.

Following the summit, the delegates will share key learnings and insights with colleagues and leadership teams, helping to translate global conversations into local action and impact.

As one of South Africa's leading mobility companies, Toyota remains committed to empowering people, supporting communities and contributing to the country's long-term development through initiatives that promote learning, leadership and sustainable progress.
