Transformational Facilitators to Feature at This Year’s KwazuluSpirit Festival in Salt Rock

Momentum is building for the upcoming KwazuluSpirit Festival 2026, taking place on 30 and 31 May at the Salt Rock Hotel, where a powerful collective of speakers, healers, and facilitators will share insights into a more conscious, connected way of living.

“Our intention is to bring together voices that are deeply aligned with the work of upliftment,”

says Debra Stevens Robins, Event Curator.

“Each speaker and healer contributes to a shared space where insight becomes experience, and where people are supported in reconnecting with their own inner wisdom.”

Key Voices Joining the Event

1.    Alanha Prior: Bliss Booths

One of the most immersive and accessible experiences at this year’s festival is the Energencia Healing Bliss Booths. This is a dedicated healing space where attendees can engage directly with energy work in a supportive, experiential environment.

Led by Alanha Prior of the Energencia Academy, this activation features 13 booths and 26 qualified healers offering complimentary 30-minute sessions throughout both festival days. Modalities span a wide spectrum, including Western and Eastern Reiki, Angelic Reiki, crystal healing, reflexology, kinesiology, Access Bars, and South American shamanic healing.

With over a decade of experience as a Reiki Master Teacher, Prior’s journey into energy healing began as a deeply personal quest for meaning, evolving into a lifelong calling. Since taking ownership of Energencia in 2019, she has helped guide thousands of students and practitioners, mentoring many into advanced levels of mastery across Reiki, crystal healing, and other modalities.

2.    Anne Marie Clulow: The Neuroscience of Intimacy

Bridging science and human connection, Anne-Marie Clulow brings a thought-provoking dimension to the programme with her masterclass, The Neuroscience of Intimacy.

Originally rooted in her work exploring conscious sexuality, Clulow’s approach has evolved into a broader, more holistic understanding of intimacy that extends beyond the physical into emotional, social, and even collective experiences. Her work reflects a growing global shift towards immersive wellness, reinforced through platforms such as the Mind Matters Summit.

Drawing on emerging neuroscience, Clulow explores how shared, sensory-led experiences activate powerful neurochemical responses - including oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine - supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing. Concepts such as ‘collective effervescence’ and ‘mirror neuron activation’ reveal how group experiences can create transformation.

3.    Leo Ming: Tai Chi

On the movement front, Leo Low Ming, a master martial artist with over 50 years of experience, offers a grounding Tai Chi practice rooted in ancient Eastern philosophy. Having trained with some of the world’s leading masters, Leo Ming brings a lifetime of discipline and insight into his teaching. His sessions focus on simple yet powerful Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements, guiding participants through a process of release, awareness, and energetic alignment.

In contrast to the Western emphasis on high-intensity exercise, Tai Chi offers a slower, more meditative approach that uses gentle, repetitive movement to release tension, stimulate internal systems, improve circulation, and restore balance. Grounded in the principles of yin and yang, his teaching highlights the importance of harmony within the self and in relation to the natural world.

Weekend of Immersive Experiences

Beyond these featured experiences, KwazuluSpirit Festival 2026 offers a rich and diverse programme designed to support personal growth and collective connection. Attendees can look forward to transformational masterclasses and talks from leading voices such as Sarah Bullen, Christa Buthelezi, Colleen-Joy Page, Jenna Dias, and Sharon Castle, alongside sessions exploring spiritual connection and mediumship with practitioners including Liz Viviers, Taz Singh, and Chanel Lingenfelder.

The movement and embodiment programme is a cornerstone of the festival, with yoga, meditation, kirtan, and soul dance complementing the Tai Chi sessions. Sound healing experiences, including immersive journeys and the Secret Sensorium soundscape, offer deeply restorative moments, while the festival’s signature events — from fire walking with Cobus ‘The Viking’ Visser to Untamed Men with former Springbok Joe van Niekerk — create powerful opportunities for personal breakthrough.

Complementing the main programme is a vibrant Mindful Artisan Market on Saturday, 30 May, open to the public at no cost. Hosted at the Salt Rock Country Club field, the market will feature local artisans, live music, children’s entertainment, and a Traditional Healing Village led by Godfrey Madlalate.
