Event Review: Huggies Nappy Pants Family Fun Day

Clamber Club and Jog the Frog made an appearance and the crowd went wild! I'm talking about dancing with legs flying in the air and arms getting thrown around from side to side, tears streaming down the painted little faces, screaming at the top of their lungs, singing along to songs that were completely unheard of by me. Why? Well it was the Huggies Nappy Pants Family Fun Day and the crowd was mostly young children who adored Jog the Frog!
Huggies SA hosted a Family Fun Day at the beautiful Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens in Roodepoort on Sunday the 29th November 2015 and invited 50 families to enjoy the fun as well, For Free!
Being the first time that I went there, I took in nature in all it's glory and was lucky enough to even see a real life tortoise !
We were greeted by smiling hosts and hostesses who offered what seemed like abundant gifts ! Cupcakes, Samples of Nappies, a Huggies branded T shirt for the little ones as well as vouchers for Cold Drinks and Ice creams.
Thereafter we found a spot to keep all our goodies and made our way to the stage where celebrity hosts Anele Mdoda and Chris Forrest were keeping parents and children entertained with fun and exciting games and lots of giveaways for moms, dads, grannies and children.
Other activities included face painting, arts and crafts as well as a Clamber Club Party area where every child could play and spend most of their time while being supervised by experienced child minders.
The music and entertainment continued right up until 4pm but we were allowed to stay in awhile after to enjoy our family bonding time in the lovely, scenic environment. Our kids had enough area to run around and play and families were continuing their picnic with their delicious eats.
It truly was a relaxing and family day filled with lots of fun and it looked like no family went home without gifts and prizes!
