Year In Review 2019: Ford Fiesta

The latest shape in the Fiesta gives it a nice new fiesty look.
The rear lamps and headlamps have both changed shape since the previous model, and we quite like the new sleek front end of the Fiesta.
The large chrome grille gives it a sportier look, and the day time running lights are always a good addition on any vehicle.
The Titanium model which we tested is also equipped with keyless entry and push start/stop, and the engine automatically switches off when you come to a complete stop and switches back on when you release the brake.
We were very surprised with the power the 1.0l EcoBoost engine could produce. You really feel the 92kW of power and 170Nm of torque even when you just tap down on the accelerator, and if you push it harder, you just #GoFurther.
The extras which are standard in the Titanium model is an 8 inch colour touchscreen display with navigation, auto headlights and rain-sensing wipers.
Ford SYNC 3 is available in the Titanium model where you can connect your smartphone via bluetooth or USB or using the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay apps.
We achieved an average of 7.7l/100km but with 92kW under the hood we couldn't help ourselves going a bit faster than usual.
The all new Fiesta pricing starts with the Manual Trend model at R 289 000 and the 6 speed Automatic Titanium Model in Magnetic (Metallic) which we tested is R 344 500. 📷 @ziyaad_86
