Year In Review 2019: Nissan Micra Acenta Plus Tech

As mentioned in our previous post we were highly impressed with the New Nissan Micra, but we grew even more attached to it when we jumped into the Acenta Plus Tech model.
With this model there is keyless entry with a nice little button on the door handle to open and lock the doors, push to start/stop, automatic stop/start, the rims are now little bigger with 17 inches fitted, and there is a rear camera which shows you your surroundings in full colour while reversing.
The blind spots warning signal on the side mirrors are great for long distance driving, and the other Nissan Intelligent Mobility features are also present in this model.
The same 66kW 900cc turbo engine is in the Acenta Plus Tech as the Acenta.
The Plus and Plus Tech models come with a vibrant Energy Orange interior trim, as well as leather steering wheel and gear shift knob and hand brake, as opposed to the urethane material used on the Visia and Acenta models.
Although the car has hill start assist the 66kW engine didn't have enough power to make it up some of the hills in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands.
We did however manage amazing fuel consumption down to the East Coast with the car set on cruise control we averaged 3.4l/100km on the 41l tank.
The Acenta Plus is priced at R 295 400 and the Acenta Plus Tech Model in Echo Grey is R 305 900. 📷 @ziyaad_86
