Canon Europe unveils its latest range of PIXMA inkjet printers and new CanoScan scanner series

Canon Europe, has today launched a new range of PIXMA inkjet printers and smart scanners. This versatile range of printers and scanners can offer full support for all home or business needs.
Canon PIXMA Inkjet Printers
Canon PIXMA TS8240 Series – Superb photos from a 6-ink All-In-One with wireless connectivity
The Canon PIXMA TS8240 Series is a stylish All-In-One printer that produces high-quality photos, perfect for home or office use. With six individual inks, including Photo Blue, and a seamless wireless connectivity, users can easily print exceptional borderless photos up to A4.
This versatile and compact inkjet printer offers connectivity to the PIXMA Cloud Link via the Canon PRINT app (iOS/Android). Amazon Alexa-enabled devices compatibility with the PIXMA TS8240 Series, enabling colouring sheets, puzzles and templates to be printed through voice command. Amazon Alexa can also provide updates relating to printer status and ink levels.
Capable of high-speed printing up to 15 images per minute (ipm) mono and 10 ipm colour, the PIXMA TS8240 Series can create a 4x6 inch borderless photograph in a matter of seconds. It also features a 2-way paper feed designed for practical flexibility, along with optional XL cartridges[1] to help cut costs while printing more.
The PIXMA TS8240 Series’ 10.8cm touchscreen and a multipurpose tray cater to those with a creative flair. The addition of nail stickers will provide hours of artistic fun for teenagers who want to design their own personalised nail decorations with the dedicated Nail Sticker app available for iOS and Android from late November 2018.
Canon PIXMA TS6240 Series – A compact, connected and family-friendly All-In-One printer
Work smart with this compact All-In-One PIXMA printer, ideal for home use. The Canon PIXMA TS6240 Series is perfect for preserving fine detail in photos and creating professional-looking documents with a dedicated pigment black ink, reserved especially to keep black text sharp. Using Wi-Fi connectivity, the free to download Canon PRINT app (iOS/Android) allows for control from a smart device, as well as access to popular cloud services through the PIXMA Cloud Link4
Benefitting from intuitive printing thanks to the 7.5cm touchscreen, the PIXMA TS6240 Series works seamlessly and can start printing and scanning in seconds. With five individual inks, auto 2-sided printing and borderless photo printing for sizes up to A4, it delivers rich looking premium results.
Canon PIXMA MG3640S – Smart, connected and fast – the perfect All-In-One
The Canon PIXMA MG3640S is a compact, All-In-One home printer that offers seamless wireless connectivity to smart devices and the cloud. It is also capable of high-speed and high-quality printing, copying and scanning. Helping to maintain efficiency, it has the option of XL Canon ink cartridges and its auto 2-sided printing delivers savings on paper and a reduced carbon footprint.
Canon PIXMA TR4540 Series – Compact and multifunctional printer for home offices
Compact and stylish, this multifunctional printer can copy, scan and fax multiple page documents with the 20-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)[2]. With high productivity and seamless wireless connectivity, the Canon PIXMA TR4540 Series is the perfect fit for any home office. Amazon Alexa-enabled devices can also connect to the PIXMA TR4540 Series, allowing voice commands to be used to print check lists and templates, or to check ink levels and printer status.
Optimising efficiency, the Canon PRINT app can be used to print, scan and copy without even turning on a computer - only a smartphone is required. Alternatively, without the Canon PRINT app, the PIXMA TR4540 Series can be operated using AirPrint (iOS) or Mopria (Android), and when no internet router is available, you can still print with Wireless Direct access. Cloud connectivity[3] allows documents to be scanned to Google Drive and Dropbox amongst others, using the PIXMA Cloud Link. The ID card copy feature also enables both sides of an ID to be scanned onto the same page for faster processing.
Canon CanoScan Flatbed Scanners
Canon CanoScan LiDE 400 – Superior scanner with exceptional speed, quality and style
The Canon CanoScan LiDE 400 is a premium scanner with enhanced speeds and high-resolution scanning capabilities, specially designed to save space, power and time. Its sophisticated design features a compact, upright stand and easy USB Type-C powered connection. The CanoScan LiDE 400 can scan up to 4800x4800 dots per inch (dpi) and precisely reproduces any high-resolution photo or document.
It has enhanced processing speeds of just eight seconds for 300 dpi colour A4 scans. In addition, scanning bulky documents including books, magazines and reports is no longer an exertion as the double-hinged Z-Lid extends up to 21mm. Combining Auto Scan detection, Document Fix, Auto Photo Fix[4] and LiDE technology, every single scan automatically applies the right settings, to make simple work of any scanning task.
Canon CanoScan LiDE 300 – Compact and simple to use – an ideal scanner for home or office
Sleek, compact and stylish in design, the Canon CanoScan LiDE 300 is a lightweight A4 flatbed scanner fitted with Canon’s streamlined EZ buttons for simple operation, making this the perfect option for high-resolution results at home or in the office.
Scanning in pristine quality and resolutions of up to 2,400x4,800 dpi, a document can be scanned in seconds (A4 300 dpi scan in 10 seconds). The CanoScan LiDE 300 can be moved easily around any home or office space as it requires no separate power cable and simply needs to be plugged into a PC or laptop via the USB cable.
The four EZ operation buttons make easy work of scanning to PDF or email, with the ability to copy or initiate Auto Scan without going through complex menus. In addition, the Auto Document Fix and Auto Photo Fix5 deliver instant document recognition, again saving time and effort to focus on the important tasks.
The Canon PIXMA TS8240 Series, PIXMA TS6240 Series and PIXMA MG3640S Series printers and CanoScan LiDE 400 and CanoScan LiDE 300 scanners will be available from October 2018, with the PIXMA TR4540 Series printer available from February 2019.
