Unravel and unwind - three days and two nights of yoga, meditation and detoxing - and nurture your mind, body and soul.

From its beautiful location in Blue Crane Nature Reserve where Brahman cattle and abundant wildlife roam free, to its comfortable accommodation and scrumptious food, Brahman Hills is a “home away from home”, where everything is taken care of.

Yoga, with its roots in ancient Indian practices has great physical and mental benefits for the body.  It tones, detoxes and strengthens muscles in a manner that improves flexibility and blood circulation, which in turn, fine-tunes mental awareness, and thus induces a state of relaxation and calm.

Through yoga, meditation and breath-work (pranayama) exercises, under the guidance of Mandy Wu, the yoga instructor, you will explore ancient techniques for nourishing both the body and mind.

Using the knowledge of Ayurveda, the Indian practice of nourishment and medicating with food, you will evaluate and gain insight into practices best suited to your unique disposition and lifestyle.

With a background in Psychology Mandy’s love for yoga grew out of a keen interest in alternative therapies over a decade ago; she now practices and teaches primarily Vinyasa Flow in Cape Town. She firmly believes that yoga is a tool that gives insight into the mind-body relationship that empowers us through movement to find freedom both on, and off the mat.

Once we can master our inner space with intention we can begin to move, create and live mindfully in the external reality”,

she says.
