That’s right, Gold Reef City Theme Park will re-open on Thursday, 3 December! 18 thrilling rides, 13 dedicated kids rides, Jump City Trampoline Park, the only authentic underground mine tour in Johannesburg, 12 dining options, multiple retail stores, plus 15 other attractions all set against a gold rush era backdrop. These are all the reasons Gold Reef City Theme Park is not only the largest of its kind in South Africa, but it was also voted one of South Africa’s most loved and coolest entertainment destinations too. Things are a little different now but tickets are available for purchase online. We also recommend wearing a buff instead of a mask as it is less likely come off during a ride keeping you safe throughout your visit.

Jozi South’s favourite upmarket buffet is back just in time for the Festive Season at Gold Reef City, voted South Africa’s Coolest Local Entertainment Place! Billy G re-opened on Friday, 20 November and once again main course choices range from succulent cuts of meat at the carvery, a variety of freshly prepared casseroles, curries and vegetarian offerings to seafood, pasta dishes, wood-fired pizza and fresh salads. The starters and mains are perfectly complimented by an indulgent assortment of decadent desserts. The bottom line: Billy G offers something to suit every palate and exceptional value for money - adults pay R185 with one child per one standard buffet adult eating free! Additional children between the ages of two and six pay just R50, while children from the ages of seven to 12 and pensioners pay R120. Children under the age of one eat for free!
