“We’ve been blown away by the speed with which tickets for the African Bike Week Festival have sold so far – it’s clear that, after two years in lockdown, people are excited to be attending in-person festivals once again!”

said event organiser, Vicky Wentzel.

“We’ve used this time to plan what’s set to be an incredible biker event with a full programme of mass rides, parades, stunt shows, musical entertainment and retail – all celebrating Africa’s vibrant biker culture.”

Sikhumbuzo Mqadi, Mayor of Ray Nkonyeni Municipality, said the KZN South Coast, which is a well-known biker destination, is proud to be hosting this unifying event:

“There will be biking fraternities and musicians from across African in attendance, all coming together to celebrate the dynamic biker culture. This is also a wonderful opportunity for visitors to explore the many offerings of the KZN South Coast, from our Blue Flag beaches and outdoor adventures to quality retail and cuisine options.”
