An even more striking appearance, even more power: The new Black Package gives the BMW X3 M50 xDrive an edgier look. Its inline-six-cylinder engine now delivers 326 kW.

The BMW X3 M50 xDrive1 makes even more of a mark: the new Black Package for the M Performance model of the BMW X3 will be available from December, further emphasising the BMW M DNA inherent in this model. The performance of the 3.0‑litre straight-six petrol engine will also receive a boost, reaching 326 kW. At the same time, all BMW X3 models will benefit from targeted product enhancements.

Accents inspired by motorsport.

Available exclusively for the BMW X3 M50 xDrive, the Black Package adds striking interior and exterior accents with motorsport-inspired details. The exclusive 22‑inch Polygon 1134 M Black light alloy wheels add one inch to the tyre portfolio of the BMW X3 M50 xDrive. Further M light alloy wheels are available as optional extras. The callipers on the M Sport brakes feature an exclusive high-gloss black finish and are decorated with a monochrome M logo. The Black Package renders the M logos and the model badges in high-gloss black with a silver outline.

The carbon look and extensive Alcantara finish in the interior create the direct motorsport connection. Parts of the driver’s side instrument panel, the area in front of the central display and the smartphone tray with inductive charging are finished in black BMW Individual Alcantara. This material is also used for the door trims and the armrest in the centre console. The M Logo on the headrests is embossed on the Alcantara surface. The specific black Alcantara/Veganza seat covers boast blue stitching and piping. A flag in the M colours is visible on the black floor mats with blue piping. Selected control elements in the interior have been embellished with the BMW Individual CraftedClarity glass application. The M steering wheel also boasts an exclusive airbag impact absorber in leather.

Improved performance for the 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine.

The heart of the BMW X3 M50 xDrive has become even more powerful. The performance of the 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo straight-six petrol engine with 48‑volt mild hybrid technology is increasing by 33 kW to reach 326 kW. The BMW X3 M50 xDrive can now sprint to 100 km/h from rest in 4.4 seconds. Applying the 1-foot rollout method2, the 100 km/h mark is reached in an even quicker 4.1 seconds. All BMW X3 M50 xDrive models benefit from the performance improvements, which are not dependent on the Black Package. This engine meets all the stipulations of the Euro 7 emissions standard.
