DOS Veces La Diversión: Two Times The Fun with UNO The Sequel - DOS

At some point in your life you landed up at a party or chilling at someone's house and they brought out UNO cards.

The card game which has been around since the 70's, but became very popular in the 90's, now has a new best friend - DOS.

In early 2018 Mattel launched the new card game, which becomes very addictive once you stop thinking of how you are used to playing UNO.

Let's look at a few of the differences between the two games:

- While UNO has 112 cards in the deck, DOS only has 108 cards

- The recommended amount of players for UNO is 2-10 players, and DOS is 2-4 players

- UNO has one pile in the centre of the players while DOS has two piles of discarded cards

- In UNO players can only play one card at a time, but in DOS players can play one or two cards on either pile of cards

- Unlike UNO in DOS you primarily match numbers, but if you match colours as well you get bonus points

- As the names suggests: you shout UNO when you are down to your last card in UNO, and you yell DOS when you have two cards left in DOS

- The first person to reach 500 points in UNO wins whereas in DOS 200 points will get you crowned as the winner

Both games objectives is to get rid of your cards the fastest.

UNO and DOS suggest players to be above the age of 7 years old.

Our son who is 6 years old, has been playing UNO for about a year now and because of the colour and number matching it is much easier, but DOS was initially a bit more challenging as he had to try and add the numbers of his cards to match the card number in the pile. However, because of this, his addition is now improving.

If you haven't got yourself a pack of DOS to complement your UNO yet, now is the best time to experience twice the fun.
