The Midnight Bakery is directed by Zarreen Adam, and is a home based, by-order Bakery/ dessertery that specializes in custom orders from novelty cakes to corporate and event catering.
The Midnight Bakery have been operating for 2 (two) years and employs 3 (three) people.
How has the lockdown affected The Midnight Bakery?
We were unfortunately unable to trade throughout levels 5 and 4, and are still feeling the effects as social gatherings and events are prohibited... So no large orders for us at the moment.

What measures has The Midnight Bakery taken to ensure that they stay afloat during lockdown?
We've begun to focus more on the individual sweet tooth needs of our insta-fam base, and have also been utilizing a delivery service to minimize the need for people to be out on the roads unnecessarily.
Why do you think The Midnight Bakery deserves to win the After Fajr Grind Awards?
I can't in all honestly say that a The Midnight Bakery is any more deserving than other entrants, but we do strive to provide quality confectionery that we hope brings a bit of joy to our customers lives in these trying times.
