um we're going to basically send you off to Mount Everest. Now, I believe you have two causes that you're going to be

um you're going to be having a face for South Africa for basically that I'm creating awareness for.

Okay. Uh but before we get into that, I want to know how did you mentally prepare for Mount Everest?

It was difficult but because we have summited Kilimanjaro before that was my preparation. So, I know what is waiting

for me. The only thing that is that we couldn't prepare for is still altitude sickness and the cold. It is going to be minus 20 at night.

So that I cannot prepare for. I'm just taking as much clothes as I can. But mentally fits, it's just to stay focused

and to remember why I'm doing this. And that's my two causes that I stand for that will keep me going.

Um, can you please tell us why are you doing this? For me, it's it's about a purpose. You cannot just do something or I believe you cannot just do something,

especially something as challenging as doing Everest base camp without a purpose. And I'm doing this for Shattering Shackles, the fight against

human trafficking as well as Green Tracks K9 anti- poaching unit to fight the fight against poaching. Those are

two causes that is very relevant to South Africa. And because I'm a victim of GBB that made it more personal for me

to choose shattering shackles in the fight against human trafficking and I hope by doing Everest I'm really creating that awareness and support for

these two causes. That is amazing and very interesting to hear. So of all the challenges why did you decide Mount

Everest? When we summited Kilamanjaro the obvious question was what next? So

the the team came together and the the bush whisper team and um we said okay why don't a space cam so we actually

paid the deposit 2 and 1/2 years ago already then this is South Africa happened and I said you know what with a

crown I'm going to get more attention and create more awareness so I just said let's do it this year why not with a

crown that's great and going for a cause as well that's amazing do you have any um

inspir inspiration or advice for those who they don't necessarily have to hike and climb a mountain. What is it that

you feel the youth need to know especially about those two causes?

For me, it's all about conquering whatever your circumstances was.

Diversity cannot change shouldn't change your path towards your greatness. I always say to people and especially to

the youngest, you are stronger than you think you are. You are a warrior, but you need to go find it within yourself
